AFF Air Assist transmission jack is a hydraulic device that is designed to support, raise, and lower a transmission once it has been disconnected from a vehicle (via a lift or other means.) For lowering, the jack is positioned directly below the transmission’s assumed center of gravity. Once the transmission is centered onto the jack included accessories such as chains and L shaped arms can help secure the load onto the work table. A secondary use for this jack is suspension work. If the transmission jack is placed under a tire the pressure on the suspension can be released so work on shock absorbers, coil springs, etc. can be performed. Optional Fuel Tank Adapter (Model 3198) available. Includes safety straps and grounding cables. Adheres to ASME 2014.
